The anticipation was building but the reality when we arrived was even better than we expected. We are staying in one of the most beautiful holiday areas in all of Germany, one the western shoreline of the lovely Tegernsee. Most attractions and activities can be reached on foot, the lake greets us each morning when we glance out the window, and outdoor acitivities seem endless. We are surrounded by nature, away from traffic, big city noise, work and stress. Here we have time with each other, to relax and rejuvinate.

Getting there
From Munich:
Take the A 8 Autobahn towards Salzburg. Take the Holzkirchen exit and drive south towards Tegernsee/Gmund. At the signal in Gmund (Wiesseeerstr.) turn right towards the Gmund train station, and continus straight towards Bad Wiessee. Upon entering Bad Wiessee continue an the main street, the Münchnerstr., through the town center, Lindenplatz. Follow the main street past the town hall (Rathaus) on the right. Go about 750 meters and turn left on the Sterneggerstr. Continue straight ahead,towards the farms of old Bad Wiessee, where upon arrival at the Dorfplatz you will find the Moarhof!
